This week we were back with the group from Refugee Action and explored the idea of home, through stitch. Participants were asked to design something which represented home to them. This could be explored through imagery representing Syria, Birmingham or something more floral. Each person then transferred their design to the material available and stitched it in an embroidery frame. Each participant could then take the frame home to decorate their wall.
